Gardiner & Theobald LLP is seeking a Graduate Assistant Project Manager in Manchester to join the Accelerate Programme. You will work towards Chartered membership (RICS or APM) while gaining hands‑on project management experience across varied projects.

Qualifications

• Achieved or expected to achieve a 2:1 degree or above.
• Excellent working knowledge of current IT systems.
• Strong understanding of the importance of client care and relationship building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable and professional in approach.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver to deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of project programmes and monitoring key deadlines and milestones.
• Recording minutes and actions from project meetings and supporting the analysis of project data and performance information.
• Providing updates to clients on project progress and maintaining regular communication to understand and respond to client requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
• Attending project meetings and site visits, including design team meetings and contractor progress meetings, depending on the project stage.
• Supporting Project Managers in the delivery of project objectives and key deliverables.
• Preparing performance reports and regular project progress updates.
• Coordinating with Project Managers and project teams during project close-out and completion activities.
