Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland invites graduates to join our Environmental Services teams through a two-year Graduate Development Programme in 2027, with opportunities across air quality, landscape architecture, cultural heritage, acoustics, and nature advisory services.

You will work on diverse client projects, learn through mentoring, and gain hands-on project experience, with hybrid working and travel across the UK. Start April or September 2027, and develop your career with our supportive team.

Qualifications

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027.
• You will have an interest in environmental challenges and be keen to learn more about your chosen specialism.
• You will enjoy working collaboratively, sharing ideas, asking questions and learning from colleagues across different disciplines.

Responsibilities

• As a Graduate, contribute to projects across sectors including transport, energy, infrastructure, residential and commercial development, urban regeneration and the public realm.
• Depending on your team, gather and review environmental information, support assessments, surveys and design work, using digital tools and contribute to reports and recommendations.
• Work on high-profile projects such as major transport and energy infrastructure, urban regeneration programmes, and nature restoration initiatives.
