Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is offering a two-year Graduate Development Programme for Environmental Services graduates to kickstart their careers on landmark projects across transport, energy, and urban regeneration.

You will join one of our Environmental Services teams and contribute to studies, reports, and practical solutions, with structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience to support your growth.

Qualifications

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027.
• You will have an interest in environmental challenges and be keen to learn more about your chosen specialism.
• You will enjoy working collaboratively, sharing ideas, asking questions and learning from colleagues across different disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects across sectors including transport, energy, infrastructure, residential and commercial development, urban regeneration and the public realm.
• Gather and review environmental information, supporting assessments, surveys and design work.
• Use digital and technical tools to contribute to reports and recommendations.
• Attend site visits and help develop practical solutions for complex projects.
