Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in the United Kingdom is seeking a graduate civil engineer to join a large multidisciplinary team on live projects. This office-based role includes training, progression, and exposure to both design and site teams, with support from a bespoke Early Careers Development Programme; a 12-month scheme to enhance skills and networks.

You will work on detailed designs, drawings and reports, progressing toward Chartered status through the internal development scheme and focusing

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or MSc.
• Excellent verbal communication to liaise with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail in drawings and reports.
• Considered approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond.
• Prepare designer risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, and associated documents and reports.
• Engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach.
