Job summary

InPost is seeking ambitious graduates for a hands-on Graduate Trainee Operations Manager role in the UK. From day one you’ll join the operation, work with Shift Leaders and Depot Managers, and take ownership as you develop into an operational leader across depots, hubs, transport and last-mile networks.

You’ll gain experience across our parcel network, analyze performance and costs, and drive improvements while building leadership and commercial understanding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline.
• Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel between operational locations.
• Willing to work operational shifts, including early, late or weekend shifts.
• Confident with data and learning new systems.
• Take ownership and enjoy solving problems.
• Communicate confidently and enjoy working with people.
• Resilient, adaptable and curious.
• Aim to develop into a future operational leader.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on – work with Shift Leaders, Duty Managers and Depot Managers across inbound, sort, outbound and last-mile operations.
• Own performance – use data to understand what’s happening and turn insight into action.
• Dare to Disrupt – challenge processes and drive improvements to productivity and costs.
• Lead people – develop through team briefings and performance conversations.
• Champion the Customer – understand how decisions affect service and quality.
