Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a Graduate Civil-Structural Engineer to join the Nuclear Structures team in Warrington. You will work on live projects, learn from senior engineers, and contribute to design, analysis and project delivery.

We offer a 2-year ADVANCE graduate development programme, with mentoring, training, and potential chartership. The role is hybrid, with opportunities to gain experience across nuclear new build and decommissioning projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng) with a 2:1 or higher.
• MSc/MEng would be an advantage for deeper technical exposure.
• Must have or be eligible for UK BPSS baseline security clearance.
• Must be able to demonstrate legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural element designs in steel and concrete.
• Undertake structural analysis of projects.
• Prepare design documentation such as basis of design and method statements.
• Develop understanding of highly regulated industries and Safety Cases.
• Liaise with project team and translate designs to construction drawings.
