Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to a growing Nuclear portfolio across the UK and internationally. You will deliver civil design work, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and support projects from early consultancy through to turnkey solutions.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree, and are encouraged to pursue Chartered status. The role offers hybrid working options, with emphasis on quality, safety, and environmental care in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• Experience in relevant civil engineering areas is desirable.
• Ability to produce civil design work with supervision where needed.
• Good grasp of civil engineering plant, systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with design guides, standards, and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Nuclear design work on UK/overseas projects.
• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile projects.
• Support project delivery to meet programme, quality and client expectations.
• Mentor graduate team members and support their development.
