Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical, Electrical and Process Team. You will support the delivery of multi-disciplined projects, based in an operational office or out on site depending on the delivery phase.

If on site, you’ll work with a commissioning engineer, with a supportive team to progress and develop your skills. This role is working for our Scottish Water framework, so travel around their region is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to develop understanding of civil engineering principles and practices that are impacted by M&E.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of design and build construction projects predominantly within Water and Wastewater sectors.
• Onsite coordinating with project teams; office-based with project management, design and commercial colleagues.
• Liaising with clients and supply chain; direct management of M&E suppliers.
• Review constructability of drawings and designs of suppliers.
• Overseeing activities of M&E Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on site.
• Assist with safety culture, documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
