Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in Manchester is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to shape the mechanical design for water and wastewater projects, from concept through commissioning.

You will work with Electrical, Civil, Geotech and Process designers, travel to sites as needed, and contribute to a collaborative one-team environment while supporting professional development and chartership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Methodical approach to problem solving and driving licence with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop the mechanical design of water and wastewater infrastructure through outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Geotech and Process designers to meet programme, budget and quality.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams to develop safe, efficient solutions during design and build phases.
• Engage with the client to manage relationships and support project aims.
