Mott MacDonald Bentley invites applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to support the Mechanical Team on multi-disciplinary projects across the UK. You will work in the office on mechanical design, or on-site to assist delivery and commissioning depending on project phase.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or MSc.
• Valid driving licence.
• Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to hand multiple tasks and problem-solve.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back.
• Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
• Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers.
• Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site.
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
