Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is launching a two-year graduate programme for ambitious engineers. You will rotate through cement production, process operations and management with hands-on projects and training.

We look for recently graduated or soon-to-be graduates in Mechanical Engineering, with a 2:1 expectation, UK citizenship or settled status and a full driving licence. Expect a 40-hour week at our Padeswood site and a structured development plan.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated in 2026 or be graduating in 2027 and expected to achieve a 2:1 in Mechanical engineering.
• British citizenship or UK settled status.
• Full UK driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of kiln and cement mill operation.
• Analyse downtime information and improve efficiency.
• Provide accurate data for KPI reporting.
• Support safety, sustainability and general process improvements.
