Qualifications

• Graduated in 2026 and expected to achieve a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering.
• UK citizenship or UK settled status.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Gather and understand process information relating to kiln and cement mill operation.
• Analyze downtime information on cement mills, kiln and associated equipment.
• Design and implement improvements to mill and kiln efficiencies; include inspections and studies.
• Monitor product quality and process parameters in liaison with other departments.
• Provide data for KPI reporting and internal reporting; suggest operational improvements.
• Share best practices with other Hanson cement plants on mill and kiln operation.
