Job summary

Hoare Lea, a leading building engineering consultancy, is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Manchester. You will work on live projects across healthcare, hotels, retail and residential, developing detailed designs for HVAC, drainage and water services.

You will use CAD and Revit, conduct site surveys, and explore new technologies while engaging in continuous CPD. The role includes mentoring and a clear path toward Chartered status.

Qualifications

• 2.1 or higher accredited Mechanical Engineering degree (IMechE/CIBSE) or equivalent
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Friendly, ambitious and confident with a flexible and resilient approach

Responsibilities

• Assist on live projects across healthcare, hotels, retail and residential.
• Produce detailed designs and drawings for HVAC, drainage, and water services.
• Use CAD and Revit for modelling and documentation.
• Undertake site surveys and adopt new technologies.
• Engage in continuous CPD and learning opportunities
