Hoare Lea in Reading invites applications for a 2027 Graduate Mechanical Engineer. You’ll be exposed to all aspects of our design work, from healthcare to hotels, with mentorship and structured career paths to support your professional development.

You'll produce detailed designs and drawings for HVAC and control systems, learn CAD and Revit, and develop strong communication and teamwork skills while working on high-profile projects across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2.1 or above accredited Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Friendly, ambitious and confident individual with a flexible and resilient approach.

Responsibilities

• Work across sectors such as healthcare, hotels, retail and residential.
• Produce detailed designs and drawings for HVAC and control systems.
• Design drainage and hot/cold-water services to standard, budget and deadline.
• Use CAD and Revit modelling software.
• Engage in continuous CPD and learning opportunities.
