Job summary

Hoare Lea in Bristol invites applications for a 2027 Graduate Mechanical Engineer. You will contribute to live projects from day one within healthcare, hotels, retail and residential sectors, delivering detailed MEP designs and drawings using CAD and Revit.

You will engage in site surveys, research new technologies, and benefit from continuous CPD and a structured career path. The role supports professional development through a mentorship framework, with opportunities toward Chartered status

Qualifications

2:1 or above IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Friendly, ambitious and confident with a flexible and resilient approach.
Masters or other relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
Experience with CAD or similar modelling software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Work on live projects from day one across healthcare, hotels, retail and residential sectors.
Produce detailed designs and drawings for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Control Systems, drainage and hot/cold-water services.
Use CAD and Revit for modelling and documentation.
Undertake site surveys and research new technologies.
Engage in continuous CPD and learning opportunities.
