SWECO UK LIMITED in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Building Services Division as part of our Autumn 2027 cohort. You will work with world-class architects and engineers to develop sustainable mechanical systems and energy strategies on high-profile projects.

The two-year blended learning scheme combines virtual and face-to-face training, with a permanent position, a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, a strong pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Have a degree relevant to the role you're applying for.
• Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Are confident using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral team member on prestigious UK construction projects.
• Carry out thermal analysis and assess ventilation loads.
• Compare mechanical design options and develop passive/active design solutions.
• Develop the building energy strategy for sustainable systems.
• Select plant and equipment for mechanical plantrooms.
• Write technical reports, presentations, and tender drawings.
• Use AutoCAD and Revit for CAD work and modelling.
• Visit construction sites and witness system commissioning.
