Sweco UK Ltd is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services division in the UK. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on high-profile projects, developing electrical infrastructure, lighting, small power, and fire alarm designs while coordinating with architects and other engineers.

Qualifikationen

• Have a degree relevant to the role you’re applying for.
• Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Are confident using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Are driven, proactive, and solution‑oriented.
• Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future. This is a permanent role, and we’re looking for candidates who can grow their careers with Sweco without a time limit.

Aufgaben

• Work as an integral team member on prestigious UK construction projects alongside architects and engineering teams.
• Analyse electrical requirements for central plant, lighting and small power to determine loads and incoming power.
• Develop high and low voltage electrical infrastructure design.
• Design lighting, small power and fire alarms to coordinate with architecture and interior design.
• Attend workshops and meetings with the architect and project team.
• Liaise with manufacturers to stay updated on latest technologies and applications.
• Write technical reports, design presentations and prepare tender drawings and specifications.
• Use electrical distribution and lighting software as well as CAD including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Visit construction sites and witness system commissioning.
