Sweco in the UK is recruiting for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services division. You’ll work on prestigious UK projects, assist with LV/HV infrastructure, lighting, small power, and fire alarm design, coordinating with architects and engineers.

The two-year Early Careers Graduate Scheme blends virtual and face-to-face learning, with mentoring, masterclasses, and a route to professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Degree relevant to the role you are applying for.
• Less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
• Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral team member on prestigious UK construction projects.
• Analyse electrical requirements for central plant, lighting and small power loads.
• Develop high and low voltage electrical infrastructure design.
• Design lighting, small power and fire alarm systems to coordinate with architecture.
• Attend workshops and meetings with the architect and project team.
• Liaise with manufacturers to stay updated on technologies.
• Prepare tender drawings and specifications.
• Use CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit; visit sites for witnessing commissioning.
