Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer for its Engineering division. You’ll gain hands-on experience from day one, working with experienced engineers to develop, coordinate and deliver mechanical solutions across diverse projects in the West Midlands.

This site-based role initially focuses on Birmingham, with opportunities to broaden experience in other locations. You’ll learn how mechanical systems are designed, installed and commissioned while developing technical knowledge,

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (2:2 or above).
• Graduating in 2027 or already completed by then is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate mechanical engineering solutions across projects.
• Review and develop mechanical designs, drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Understand mechanical systems and how they integrate with other disciplines.
• Work with project and construction teams to translate design into delivery.
• Assist with inspections, testing and commissioning activities when required.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and engineering records.
