Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is offering a site-based Graduate Electrical Engineer role in Birmingham as part of a structured two-year development programme. You will learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience across electrical design, coordination, installation and testing, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable electrical solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline with 2:2 or above.
Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with practical approach to challenges.

Responsibilities

Support the development and coordination of electrical engineering solutions across projects.
Assist with review and development of electrical designs, drawings and specifications.
Develop understanding of electrical systems and how they integrate with other disciplines.
Undertake engineering calculations and assessments with guidance from senior engineers.
Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
Assist with design reviews and identify opportunities to improve buildability and safety.
