Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Infrastructure team in Bridgwater, Somerset. The role offers a starting salary of £31,000 per annum with a potential car allowance of £4,750 or a company car, and a two-year permanent graduate programme leading to an assistant-level role with salary potential around £38k.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
Graduate in 2027 or within the past three years.
Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for projects.
Support preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
Assist in preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project updates.
