Job summary

Kier Group in Woking, Surrey, is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and support our water portfolio on projects across Surrey. The role offers 26 days annual leave, wellbeing support, and a clear progression path.

Starting salary is £31,000 per annum with a potential car allowance of £4,750 or a company car, depending on eligibility; the programme is permanent, full-time, 2 years, leading to an assistant level role with salary potential around £38k.

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2027 or recent graduates within the past three years.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Interest in electrical engineering and project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects.
• Assist with preparation of detailed drawings, specifications and reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects and contractors to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, documentation and project updates.
