Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier project in Somerset. The role offers a pathway from graduate to assistant level with salary potential and a car allowance depending on eligibility and project.

You will alternate between on-site delivery and design-based work, supporting designs, schedules and budgets while developing technical and professional skills across UK projects.

Qualifications

• ICE-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• Graduate in 2027 or within the past 3 years.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of project designs, plans and specifications.
• Support the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and provide project updates.
