Step Into Teaching are looking forgraduate learning support assistantsfor a secondary school inRedditchoffering a full time role starting in the new academic year (September 2025-July 2026).

The role is to support their SEND/SEMH pupils.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain experience before becoming an educational psychologist/SENCO/teacher.

The Opportunity:

• Graduate Learning Support Assistant
• Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers/aspiring Teachers
• 1:1 & Small Group work
• Secondary school – rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted
• Direct routes into ITT
• Full-time role – Monday - Friday
• September Start -interviews to take place this summer
• £480 - £520 per week - term time only

Key Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support in the classroom.
• Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team
• Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups
• Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
• Working alongside other professionals to assess children
• Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
