Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Are you a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs before pursuing a career in education, psychology, or therapy?

• £80 - £100 per day
• ‘Good’ 2-Form Entry Primary School, Wolverhampton
• Supporting pupils with mild Autism and ADHD

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils diagnosed with mild Autism and ADHD, providing in-class and intervention support to help them access learning and build confidence. You will work under the guidance of the SENCo and class teachers to adapt tasks, regulate behaviour, and create a supportive learning environment. This role offers meaningful experience with children requiring additional support.

The Candidate

This role is suitable for graduates with a background in psychology, education, or related fields, who have a genuine interest in SEN. Patience, calmness, reliability, and the ability to build strong relationships with children needing extra encouragement are essential. Prior experience supporting children with SEND in any setting will strengthen your application.
