Job summary

Milk Education is a community for educators; we’re recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a SEND School in Wirral starting in September on a long- or short-term basis. The role offers hands-on experience and supportive environment.

Qualifications

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to their individual needs
  • Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
  • Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
  • Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
  • Either a recent graduate from any subject background or a current student with an interest in children and education wanting some hands on experience around their studies.
  • Solid numeracy and literacy skills
  • Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
