Milk Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a SEND School in Wirral, starting in September, offering valuable hands-on experience for recent graduates or current students in a collaborative, wellbeing-focused environment.

You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, assist with lesson planning, and help deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps, within a supportive, inclusive setting that values consistency.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student seeking hands-on experience in education.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to their individual needs.
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources.
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong.
