Job summary

Trek Recruitment Ltd in the UK seeks a Graduate IT & Network Engineer for an on-site role in Wrexham to support IT infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365, and day-to-day systems in a live manufacturing environment.

Training is available to build on your degree, with opportunities to work with international teams via Microsoft Teams and to gain exposure to security practices within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cyber Security or related subject.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of networking or systems from study, placement or projects.
• Strong communication skills and explicit interest in infrastructure and cyber security.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Useful: Microsoft 365, Windows, Cisco Meraki, CLI/SSH, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, CCNA or Network+, and a full UK driving licence.
• This is not an open graduate scheme.

Responsibilities

• Support IT infrastructure, servers, backups and the site network.
• Maintain Windows systems and provide Microsoft 365 support.
• Work with switches, firewalls, print servers, laptops and desktops.
• Help with installs, upgrades and user support on site and remotely.

Salary: £28,000–£34,000

We are recruiting for our client, a manufacturing company in Wrexham, who is looking for a recent graduate with a relevant IT or networking degree.
