CV Screen Ltd. is recruiting an IT Support Engineer for a world-leading UK manufacturer near Guildford.

The role is office-based and 35 hours per week, covering infrastructure, cybersecurity, internal IT and customer technical support during the Microsoft cloud migration. You will join a small, highly technical team and take ownership of IT tasks, with training on the company's instruments and systems and opportunities to work on automation, locally hosted AI and R&D projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Entra ID and Intune.
• Experience with hypervisors, storage, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), cybersecurity and backups.
• PowerShell skills, ideally with cloud or hybrid migration experience.

Responsibilities

• Look after Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and hybrid identity, plus the virtual server cluster and storage.
• Help finish the Microsoft cloud migration and shape future infrastructure decisions.
• Oversee updates, backups, disaster recovery, networking, firewall and Wi-Fi.
• Build PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline administration.
• Support staff and new starters, and help customers and overseas distributors with instrument and software queries.

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an IT Support Engineer on behalf of a world-leading UK manufacturer based near Guildford. Paying up to £42,000 plus bonus, this office-based, 35-hour-per-week role covers infrastructure, cybersecurity, internal IT and customer technical support. You'll join a small, highly technical team as it completes its move to Microsoft cloud services, so this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Look after Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and hybrid identity, plus the virtual server cluster and storage
• Help finish the Microsoft cloud migration and shape future infrastructure decisions
