Job summary

Clockwork Organisation Ltd t/a Travail Employment in Wrexham is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join a global manufacturing business. You will develop hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, and facilities engineering, supporting breakdowns and contributing to maintenance routines.

The role offers a structured environment with TPM, continuous improvement projects, and collaboration with the Engineering Department.

Qualifications

• HND or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Ideally working towards or interested in gaining the 18th Edition qualification.
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and improve engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting mechanical maintenance, installation work, and basic electrical installation.
• Assisting with general facility maintenance and improvement projects, including working with external contractors.
• Following scheduled maintenance activities while remaining flexible to support Production and Moulding Operations.
• Developing a basic understanding of PLC programming, enabling minor programme adjustments.
• Contributing to energy-saving initiatives and improvement projects.
• Supporting TPM activities and assisting with automation equipment maintenance and production breakdowns.

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join a well-established global manufacturing business in Wrexham. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career who is eager to develop hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, and facilities engineering. You'll work closely with the Engineering Department, supporting breakdowns, learning Planned Preventive Maintenance routines, and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
