Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Graduate HR Assistant to join our People & Talent team. Based in Staines with hybrid working, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, contracts, and employee records.

You’ll work closely with the HR Manager and Talent team to support day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, documentation, onboarding, compliance, and general employee support.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team across the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding to offboarding
• Assist with preparing and issuing contracts, onboarding documents, and employment letters
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR data is accurate and up to date
• Help coordinate induction sessions and onboarding activities for new joiners
• Track probation periods, performance reviews, and other HR processes
• Support with HR queries from employees, ensuring timely and professional responses
• Assist with recording sick leave, annual leave, and other absence management tasks
• Help organise internal events, training sessions, and engagement activities
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team during peak recruitment periods
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, GDPR requirements, and company procedures
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and management
