Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is offering an 18-month Graduate Programme based in Luton with hybrid working. From day one you’ll contribute to real hardware projects in electronic warfare and receive a starting salary of £34,000 plus a £1,000 welcome bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities developed through university projects or placements.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn from experienced engineers and mentors.

Responsibilities

• Support development of high-performance electronic hardware for defence platforms.
• Assist across the hardware engineering lifecycle from concept to verification and qualification.
• Create circuit designs, schematics and analyses using industry tools.
• Conduct laboratory testing and debugging with specialist equipment.
• Analyse technical data and present findings to teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with systems, firmware, software, RF and mechanical engineers to integrate hardware.
• Contribute to design reviews and customer deliverables.
• Develop understanding of the full engineering lifecycle from concept to manufacture.
