Job summary

Join Stantec’s 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer in our Glasgow office, contributing to ground assessment and geotechnical/geoenvironmental work across infrastructure, water and community projects.

You will join a friendly ground assessment team, delivering high-quality outputs for clients and developing your technical capability through multidisciplinary collaboration and professional accreditation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Chemistry.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Willingness to work in the water sector and gain professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyse geotechnical and geoenvironmental properties of the ground and assist in client reports.
• Support ground investigations, site characterisation, and reports.
• Contribute to geotechnical inputs such as foundations, retaining walls and earthworks.
