Qualifications
- Undergraduate Bachelor's / Master's level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical related fields.
- Master's in Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Soil Mechanics is desirable.
- Skills in GIS, CAD, coding, AI, BIM/3D ground modelling are desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Assessing site constraints, geological hazards and ground conditions to help shape projects at their early stages.
- Analysing ground investigation data to derive ground models and parameters for use in design
- Representing Arup on site during ground investigations, earthworks and other construction activities
- Delivering Total Design by working closely with other disciplines to provide integrated project solutions
- Written and verbal communication during all stages of projects, from initial optioneering through to detailed design
