Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join its Manchester team. You will work on ground investigation, contaminated land, and environmental monitoring projects across Manchester and the UK.

The role is ideal for a graduate or someone with up to one year's experience to develop their career within a supportive consultancy. You will gain hands-on field and reporting experience while supporting Phase I/II assessments and geotechnical sampling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or related earth sciences.
• Ground investigation or contaminated land experience beneficial.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel across Manchester and the UK.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground investigations across Manchester and the UK.
• Soil and rock logging.
• Groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
• Support Phase I and Phase II assessments.
• Environmental and geotechnical sampling.
• Assist with contaminated land and remediation projects.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Support data interpretation and client liaison.

A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join their Manchester team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or candidate with up to one year's experience to develop their career within a supportive and expanding consultancy.
