Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Graduate Engineering Geologist for the Leeds team. This is an excellent entry point for graduates or candidates with up to one year's experience to develop their careers within a supportive and expanding consultancy.

The Graduate Engineering Geologist will work across ground investigation, contaminated land, environmental monitoring and technical reporting projects throughout Leeds and the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or related Earth sciences.
• Ground investigation or contaminated land experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel across Leeds and the UK.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground investigations across Leeds and the UK.
• Soil and rock logging.
• Groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
• Support Phase I and Phase II assessments.
• Environmental and geotechnical sampling.
• Assist with contaminated land and remediation projects.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Maintain project records and documentation; support data interpretation and client liaison.
