Yorkshire is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in York to join their environmental and engineering consultancy. Open to graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience, with opportunities to advance through mentoring and chartership support.

The role covers ground investigation, contaminated land, environmental monitoring and technical reporting across the UK, with travel and outdoor work expected and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Earth Sciences.
• Ground investigation experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel across the UK.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground investigations across the UK.
• Soil and rock logging.
• Groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
• Support Phase I and Phase II assessments.
• Environmental and geotechnical sampling.
• Assist with contaminated land and remediation projects.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Support data interpretation and client liaison.

A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or candidate with up to one year's experience to develop their career within a supportive and expanding consultancy.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will work across ground investigation, contaminated land, environmental monitoring and technical reporting projects throughout UK.
