Job summary

Lendable is hiring for an entry-level Customer Operations role in the UK. You will join the UK Customer Operations team and train to become a fully competent front-line agent handling inquiries across personal loans, credit cards, and car finance.

You will own each enquiry from first contact to resolution and help improve automated tools and AI-driven journeys. You’ll be based in our Chatham office three days a week and two weekend days a month, with a day in lieu to ensure a five-day week.

Qualifications

• Clear, empathetic communication in spoken and written English.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new products and procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Sound judgement and willingness to speak up when a customer isn’t getting a good outcome.
• Comfort with digital tools and AI-driven platforms.
• Availability to work from Chatham office three days a week and two weekends a month.

Responsibilities

• Resolve general customer service and financial support queries across loans, cards or car finance.
• Own each enquiry from first contact to resolution or escalate where needed.
• Support customers in financial difficulty or vulnerable situations with appropriate assistance.
• Keep conversations on track while building rapport and ensuring compliant outcomes.
• Meet targets for customer satisfaction, quality and compliance by following procedures.
• Use AI and digital tools to resolve queries faster and more accurately.
• Provide feedback on blockers and process gaps to improve knowledge bases and AI systems.
• Keep up with product, system and process changes and share learnings with colleagues.
