Job summary

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley is seeking a motivated graduate-level Structural Analysis engineer to join the Applied Science group. You will analyse mechanical components and collaborate with a high-calibre team to improve performance and reliability.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree (2:1), strong FEA knowledge, fatigue and non-linear material understanding, and the ability to perform hand calculations. Excel/VB or Python skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 2:1 minimum grade.
• Strong understanding of FEA methods is essential.
• Knowledge of fatigue and non-linear material behaviour is essential.
• Ability to perform hand calculations; Excel/VB or Python experience is advantageous.
• Good communication and collaborative skills are essential.
• Interest in fast development within a dynamic digital world is desirable.
