Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK, is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Structures group. You will develop lightweight, high-performance car structures and apply advanced analysis to support design, validation and trackside delivery.

You will work with design, aerodynamics and production teams, using FEA tools like Abaqus and HyperWorks to model metallic and composite components, interpret results and contribute to continuous improvement in analysis methods in a

Competenze

Engineering degree, 2:1 minimum grade or equivalent.
Experience in structural analysis within motorsport, aerospace, automotive or a similarly demanding environment.
Working knowledge of FEA tools such as Abaqus, HyperWorks, FE-Safe or similar.
Good understanding of metallic and composite materials, structural behaviour and failure mechanisms.
Experience with linear analysis and an interest in developing non-linear analysis capability.
Ability to interpret analysis results and communicate findings clearly.
Experience supporting design development, validation or test activities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Proactive, inquisitive and committed to high engineering standards.
