Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK is seeking a highly motivated Structural Analyst to join the Applied Science department. You will lead innovative solutions, apply advanced mechanical and structural analysis, and collaborate with a team of engineers to push technical boundaries.

Reporting to the Head of Structural Analysis, you will perform complex FE analyses, develop methodologies, document test requests, and contribute to designs for peak performance and reliability in high‑speed

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical engineering degree (2:1 minimum) or equivalent with automotive/motorsport experience.
• Thorough understanding of FEA methods.
• Knowledge of fatigue, non-linear material behaviour and contact analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA or Python is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Structural analysis of highly complex components and assemblies to high standards.
• Collaborate with Applied Science team to optimize designs for performance and reliability.
• Advance simulation and analysis methodologies and processes.
• Document test requests and stress reports.
