Job summary

Babcock in Bristol offers an Environmental Engineering Graduate Programme with a two-year rotation. You’ll work on environmental protections and sustainability across defence projects, rotating every few months to broaden experience and networks.

Starting salary is £35,000 with progression; the role supports BPSS/SC/NNPI clearances and on-site presence with agile, hybrid arrangements. Opportunities to develop toward professional registration are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have or be on track to achieve a BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical & Nuclear, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
• Eligible for BPSS, Security Check (SC) and Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI) clearance; UK national requirement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to protecting people and the planet by managing environmental aspects of defence programmes.
• Perform environmental assessments, risk analyses, and sustainability-focused design and disposal planning.
