Job summary

Babcock International invites graduates into a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme. Over two years you will rotate through placements across Bristol, Ashchurch, and Devonport sites, gaining experience from concept design to in-service support.

Qualifications

• Must have a BEng or MEng in Mechanical, Structural, Motorsport, Materials, Mechatronics, Engine Systems, Welding, Automotive, or AeroMechanical.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.
• UK national (place of birth/nationality/residency considerations apply).

Responsibilities

• Rotate through placements every 3-6 months across projects and teams.
• Support work across the engineering lifecycle from concept to decommissioning.
• Contribute to design reviews, stress analysis, and integration of mechanical systems.
