Job summary

Babcock International is offering an Environmental Engineering Graduate Programme based in Bristol, with a September 2027 start. The role involves protecting the environment and public safety across submarine design lifecycles, with rotations every few months and full mentorship.

You will join the Graduate Development Programme with expert masterclasses, support for professional registration, and potential progression to a permanent position in our Engineering Function.

Qualifications

• Student or early career with relevant foundation in environmental science or engineering.
• Willing to obtain BPSS, Security Check (SC) and NNPI clearances.
• On-track to achieve a degree in listed subjects.

Responsibilities

• Apply environmental management methods to assess impacts and risks of submarine design changes.
• Contribute to sustainability-focused design and lifecycle management of systems and assets.
• Prepare environmental impact assessments, case reports and safe disposal planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with customers on projects.
