Job summary

Tec Partners Recruitment Ltd in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, is seeking a Graduate Customer Support Engineer to join an established electronics engineering business specialising in advanced switching, simulation and relay technology.

As a graduate, you will provide technical support to customers, help install, configure and maintain products, and work with internal teams to investigate issues and improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( Electronics / CS ) is required.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language or development environment (e.g. C#, .NET, Python, LabVIEW).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate issues and find root causes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and stay effective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers during installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering and product teams with clear communication.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in internal systems.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
• Deliver customer training to improve product knowledge and user proficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D to communicate feedback and support product improvements.
• Manage support requests in line with service levels and response times.
