Job summary

Stantec in Glasgow is recruiting for a Graduate Electrical Engineer as part of the 2027 Graduate Programme in our Water team. You will support electrical engineering delivery across water and wastewater projects, collaborating with MEICA colleagues to gain hands-on experience and contribute to sustainable design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and keen interest in the water industry.
• Demonstrates ability to work with MEICA teams on water sector projects.
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK for an indefinite period.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site visits for condition assessment and information gathering.
• Assist senior engineers with schedules and technical documentation.
• Build site power burden estimates and determine new site requirements.
• Assist in architecture layouts design, including fibre network design.
• Participate in constructability workshops and develop practical design solutions.
• Develop technical capability through project work and structured graduate development.
