Job summary
Stantec is inviting graduates to join our 2027 Graduate Programme in Glasgow as a Graduate Electrical Engineer. You will work on live projects across healthcare and education, contributing to electrical design concepts and collaborating with the design team early in the project lifecycle.
You will gain hands-on experience with Dialux, Relux, Electrical OM, Revit and 3D BIM, while pursuing professional qualifications with IET or CIBSE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period without limitation.
Responsibilities
- Working on live projects from the start in a variety of sectors from healthcare to education
- Electrical services design and calculations using the latest computer modelling software Dialux, Relux and Electrical OM
- Working with supervisors on scheme design concepts
- Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production; design co-ordination with other professional disciplines
- Producing detailed designs and drawings
- Input into or development of energy and sustainability strategy
- Participating in design team and client meetings
- Undertaking site visits or surveys
- Researching and implementing new technologies
- Continuous CPD and learning opportunities
- Your typical work might include designing and creating Electrical Circuits, Wiring and Lighting
