Job summary

Join Mott MacDonald as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in the Water Utility Division. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure for clean water, wastewater, flood protection, and environmental resilience.

You’ll build technical and project management skills with mentoring and our Early Careers network. We’re looking for graduates with limited relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, earned no earlier than 2025.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field obtained no earlier than 2025.
• Interest in water utility projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical and ICA designs for water/wastewater assets.
• Develop drawings: plant layouts, single line diagrams, I/O schedules.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for integrated solutions.
• Utilize digital tools to improve design quality and efficiency.
• Gain exposure to project and commercial management through mentoring.
