Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer for its Birmingham office as part of the 2027 Graduate Programme. You will work within a team of MEP engineers, contributing to mechanical and electrical building services design and BIM modelling.

The role supports development toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng) and offers a pathway to chartership within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The graduate program emphasizes hands-on learning and client-facing experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Interest in the Buildings sector.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of MEP projects through the development of mechanical and electrical building services designs.
• Assisting with the coordination of designs across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Undertaking engineering calculations using industry-standard software tools.
• Contributing to the preparation of technical specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Producing and developing 3D designs and models using BIM and related design software.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients to help deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
