Job summary

Stantec invites applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme in Birmingham as a Graduate Civil Engineer. Join a close-knit team of civil and structural engineers delivering building infrastructure projects across the South West and nationwide.

You will support design delivery, including drainage, highways, car parking layouts, earthworks and site levels, while gaining professional qualifications and exposing you to client meetings and site inspections.

Qualifications

• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
• Office presence required four days per week.
• Professional qualification for this role is IEng or CEng with ICE.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drainage system design (drainage calculations) for building infrastructure projects.
• Assist with highway calculations and coordination with design team.
• Produce drawings, specifications and design reports.
• Create 3D drainage and highway models and coordinate with other designers.
• Develop 3D earthworks models to balance cuts/filled volumes and reduce waste.
